QLD: National Australia Bank robbed on Gold Coast
An armed man has robbed a Gold Coast bank, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say the man entered the National Australia Bank at Surfers Paradise shortly before
11am (AEST) and produced a handgun, demanding money.
The female teller handed over the cash and the man fled.
No-one has been injured during the robbery.
The man is described as in his early 30s, 171cm tall, caucasian with a goatee beard.
He was wearing a red-checked flannelette-type long-sleeved shirt and baggy longish pants.
