NSW: Heavy rain causing traffic chaos on F3

Police say heavy rain and wet roads have contributed to two serious accidents involving
a total of 22 vehicles on the same freeway, north of Sydney.

The separate accidents both occurred on the F3 freeway, blocking northbound lanes for
several hours at a time.

Two trucks and eight cars were involved in the first accident about 9am (AEDT).

The accident site stretched 500m along the freeway, about 10km north of Berowra.
