NSW: Semi-trailers crash head-on near Tenterfield

Two semi-trailers have crashed head-on near Tenterfield in northern NSW, blocking the
New England Highway.

Police say the accident happened about 30km south of Tenterfield around 2.15pm (AEST) today.

An ambulance spokeswoman says initial, unconfirmed reports suggest one of the semi-trailers
may have rolled and caught fire.

She says she doesn't know how many people were involved in the accident.

Police are working to divert traffic in the area but are warning of major delays.
